Sun Chemical Launches New Inks additions to the wide-format inkjet inks.
Recently, Sun Chemical Screen has added to its after-market Streamline brand of
wide-format inkjet inks. Already offering inksets compatible with a
wide range of solvent printers, Streamline has added inks for HP Scitex Turbojet
(now HP Scitex TJ 8300) and a bulk ink option for Mimaki JV3 printers.
Inks for HP Scitex Turbojet match the color and performance of the OEM's product,
reports the company, including the color gamut, jetting properties, adhesion,
consistency, drying speed, and evaporation rate. In addition, changing
to Streamline ink does not require flushing the system or creating new
color profiles.
The S-Tech bulk-ink system was developed for installation onto Mimaki JV3
printers. The 600-ml tank S-Tech system requires no modification to the hardware or
software of the printers. The systems controls ink levels to produce consistent
ink pressure on the heads; the system also includes a sensor to ensure ink
delivery is kept at a constant level.
