Today SUN’s printer plant is 2 years. At the moment SUN’s plant (official name is “SUN engineering”) is the only manufacturing firm in Russia producing domestic printers.

Two years have gone by since the plant was opened. It started from a research center and has developed to such a big productive capacity.

SUN engineers had made a sensation by developing unique printers which have no analogues in the world on the basis of UV-LED technology. The innovation was presented at FESPA’07 in Berlin (Germany) and in split second SUN entered into world of wide format digital printer innovations. And even if in not so far future any company will repeat the technology SUN already has become a history –nobody can change the fact – world’s first commercially successful UV-LED printer was made in Russia!

It was an impulse for further development of the plant. Engineers didn’t stop half-way, researches and improvements of the printer were carried out all the time. One more year was fruitful. In spring 2008 at FESPA Digital in Geneva (Switzerland) SUN presented new wonder of engineering – the NEO UV-LED Evolution. Specifically designed to print photo-realistic quality outputs on any materials the model was displayed in new stylish body that made printer smart. The printer was stuffed with improvements: fundamentally new HS electronics, belt feeding system, new tables and other features that have made NEO UV-LED Evolution productive, reliable and safe.

Recently new servo-pump-console system with vacuum generator and USB-CAN converter to use with UV-LED and solvent printers has been introduced to offer customers better quality of printing as well as time and ink savings. Also we have launched new Head Heater XAAR 128 kit to ensure stable printing quality.

At the moment on our plant we focus on producing UV-LED/Evolution and solvent NEO printers and UV-LED blocks. But also we pay attention to laser and milling engravers and cutting plotters from our suppliers that we have to test and make better before selling.

Everyday engineers develop new product and work on improvement of the technology and printers to make it more profitable to meet customers’ needs and expectations.
