In May 29 — June 11 the world largest exhibition DRUPA was held in Düsseldorf (Germany).

This exhibition was a really great show. Around 391,000 visitors from 138 countries and 3,000 journalists from 84 countries traveled to Dü sseldorf to gather information on innovations, further developments and new fields of business. Accounting for 59% of visitors the proportion of international visitors rose by 4 percentage points over the last event four years ago. Commenting on the results for drupa 2008 Messe Düsseldorf CEO Werner Matthias Dornscheidt said: "This means drupa has further developed its global market significance and its international status".

SUN llc presented NEO UV-LED Evolution in the Innovation Hall. We got more than 1000 contacts during 2 weeks of exhibition. Clients came from different European and even Russian speaking countries (about 5% of people were from Russia, Ukraine, Estonia, the Republic of Belarus and Latvia). The percentage of Far East, India and South America visitors was also above average. We were impressed with the intensity and quality of the trade conversations held with well-informed visitors.

As for the printer and ink — we have a ground to be proud of our products. There were always a lot of visitors at our booth. by the way, our company marked this exhibition as the war against dangerous UV-lamps (special signs were placed on walls of our stall).

We talked a lot about distinctive advantages of LED technology. The UV-LED Evolution was a green innovation of the fair and many people have come especially to see it and to get samples. Visitors underlined a brilliant combination of Price-Quality-Technology. Many people expressed an opinion that the printer with such technical stuff should be much more expensive. Those who have seen previous models of NEO UV — LED printer were also impressed by significant improvements of Evolution. Our engineers from R&D department spent only six months to design a new frame of the printer, HS electronics, belt feeding system and other technical solutions. All these are evidences of our work towards making the printer user-friendly and productive. Moreover we also offer an upgrade kit for previous models. So your printer will be always up to date with SUN.

We have carried out negotiations about distribution of our products with different companies. At this moment we select dealers on competitive basis and we have some interesting offers from Greek, Japanese, Philippine, Argentine, and Brazilian companies.

Besides we met a great interest for UV-LED blocks concerning offset printing. UV-LED can be used successfully in offset dryers. Uv-lamps that are currently used don't come up to expectations. Lamp systems generate a lot of heat and therefore burn paper. It requires a powerful cooling and ventilation ducts. So, UV-LED in offset is a very perspective field and we definitely will develop this direction.

Our distributors - TECHNOPLOT CAD Vertriebs GmbH (Germany) and CRM-Pygmalion (France) were at our booth during DRUPA. They gave consultations about printers, technology, and SunFlower ink to end-users and sub-dealers of their countries. This was the way we worked all together.
