The 2008 Gold Coast wide format, screen and sign show Visual Impact Image Expo took place April 18–19 at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre at Broadbeach. SUN was there at booth of Australian distributor Advanced Sign Supplies with two printers NEO UV-LED and NEO Fenix.

The event was very large, except wide format digital printing other sectors were presented–screenprinting, engraving, signage applications. There were visitors from different cities as well as from different continents.

Its need to mention, that in Australia people are interesting in customized products. Requirements of quality and variety of printed media are very high. Owners of Advertising Agencies and Printing shops are searching for new opportunities, new technologies and quick ROI. That's why NEO UV-LED has generated considerable public excitement. During event we have printed on different materials–aluminum, plastics, banner, self adhesive film, koflood. Results were impressive-bright images with good color gamut (CMYK+LcLm on UV-LED printer and CMYK+OrGr on solvent one) and adhesive. to test it we have vainly tried to scratch the image. And of course it was really important for potential clients to see with their own eyes that print is stable (means can be used everywhere without any doubt about durability). SunFlower ink and UV-LED technology is a very good combination.

After the exhibition both printers have been sold. Also Advanced Sign Supplies people have find clients for 6 UV-LED and 3 solvent printers. These way Russian unique printers proved to be very successful within Australian market.
