Sunflower Silver Series
We are happy to let our clients know that Sunflower Inks Silver Series is
available now! It was designed to use with XAAR printheads especially. Having a great color rendering the inks are refers to budgetary Series.
Sunflower Silver Series - is ink which contains dye as a colorant instead of
pigment. These dyes are solvent-soluble. It is the latest achievement in
dyestuff chemistry. They have high lightfastness which is 5-7 points according
to the international scale where 8 points is the possible maximum. So,
considering Cyan colorant to be the less light-resistant we guarantee for the Silver Series 3 months of lightfastness in the outdoor use.
The main advantage of these inks is that they don't containes solid
components and stabilizing additive. So inks do not damage the printheads,
do not clog nozzles and mesh. Using these inks the lifetime of printheads
increases to 50%!!!
Somebody will consider limited lightfastness of Silver Series to be a
disadvantage. Let's stop and think if it is really so. Very often
clients needs printed images (banners, posters) just for one event - opening
of a new trade shop, festival, seminar, exhibition, advertising campaign launch and
so on. So, there is no point in overpaying twice to lightfastness!!! You see?
In signage use (billboards) the image is also usually exposed within three
months. People don't pay attention to the advertising overtime - it becomes familiar and ordinary. So you have to change the picture.
Sunflower Silver Series is intended for quick-changeable advertising which have
to be exposed during short period of time and due to this doesn't require
expensive inks! Your clients will be happy for the opportunity to have
economy!!! All the other physical properties: frost-resistance, moisture
barrier property, stability are the same with solvent based
pigmented Sunflower inks of Golden and Platinum Series.
