Solvent Ink SunFlower

The SunFlower solvent Inks are for POP displays, billboard applications, outdoor signage, “street furniture”, durable graphics, Ink give a good adhesion and compatibility with an extensive range of coated and uncoated substrates. The different series of SunFlower Solvent Inks are designed for different types of print heads. Ink compatible with XAAR, Spectra, Konica-Minolta and Seiko printheads.

The outstanding features of these inks are as follows:

• Ecological compatibility. It is unchangeable all Solvent inks on 80% consist of VOC compounds which evaporate into the air both during the printing process and drying. Companies need to be aware of the impact of this on the environment. We think about environment and your health.  That’s why in our Solvent Ink we use only low-toxic VOC compounds, which do not evaporate so much. Ecological compatibility confirmed by certificate hygienic.
• High optical density. We do not save on pigment for our Ink and besides ensure very small grinding of pigment. Size of pigment in our ink is about 0.2 micron it is milled to this level to ensure consistency, stability and quality. Spreading capacity is high.
• Wide color gamut, brightness and true reproduction. Many people are fussy about color, especially when it comes to their logos. SUNFLOWER ink gives excellent brightness and saturated true colors on any substrates.
• Light fastness. SUNFLOWER inks refer to 8 point (which is top according to the international scale). It means that you can expose printed images outdoor more than 3000 hours (something about 2 years). But you must realize that index 3000 hours of exposition depends of climatic region. Operation life of printed image in summer on Sicily and in winter on Lapland may differ many times.

SUNFLOWER Ink + Nanotechnology= Quality and Stability

Sun Company has already finished testing of inks based on nanotechnology.

Nanochemicals which we use are consists of solid microspheres comparing in firm sense with diamonds. Being round-shaped these microspheres extremely augument inks fluidity. If nozzles are blocked up ordinary ink can not traverse, but ink with nanoparticles pass through easily. Besides they clean up the nozzles not damaging printheads.

The main advantage for our clients the tint increased. The picture becomes brighter! As nanoparticles are round-shaped they play a role of light diffusing lens and due to this the glow effect takes place.

Now all the main ink formulas will be produced with the use of nanotechnologies. Besides everything above-listed nanotechnology allows to get stability of ink behavior in printheads, increase shelf life and resistance to external factors. And of course ink with nanoparticles favour cleaning the printheads! So when using such inks lifetime of printheads increase to 30%!!!

Color Range: CMYK+ LcLm+ OrGr + White. LcLm are for good blend and gradient, especially when it’s need to get photographic quality and natural colors; OrGr makes colors more saturated and extend the gamut. White colour makes it possible to print on materials that are of different colours, even on transparent!!!

Economical benefits

In our Ink formula special anti closing mechanism is included. So SunFlower Ink does not dry up in the printheads without oxygen. Also due to a very small size of pigments and “soft” polymers the Ink do not block up nozzles and mesh. These are good for printheads’ service life and increase it up to 30%.

The SunFlower solvent Ink are made from European components Solvent - BASF (Germany), Pigment- Clariant (Germany), Ciba (Switzerland), Polymer - Wacker (Germany), Additives - Lubrizol (UK), Stabilizing additive - Belgium

Applications:

The SunFlower solvent Ink is compatible with a wide range of substrates: banner fabrics front-lit, backlit, blackout, self-adhesive vinyl, backlit and blue back paper and other materials for solvent printing.

Ink Changeover

Clean your Ink system and filters with flush corresponding to your previous Ink. Then do the same with Flush Liquid Sunflower and Flush Sunflower and then use SunFlower UV-curable Ink successfully. Shake up the Ink before use.

Storage

The shelf life of SUNFLOWER Solvent Ink is 12 month from the date of manufacture if stored under proper conditions. For White Solvent Ink keeping time is 3 months. The most suitable temperature for storage is between +5 and +35^oC. During the transportation Ink can be stored temporary at -18^oC but then before use Ink should be allowed to reach room temperature.

Packaging

The SunFlower solvent Ink Series Gold, Gold Ultra, Platinum, Platinum Ultra are available in 2 liter bottles and SunFlower Silver is available in 5 liter bottles.

We assume overall responsibility for our ink. We have service center with mobile teams. Experts answer all your questions and do help when change to SUNFLOWER. Also we give a half-year warranty on a printheads when using our ink.
