UV-curable Ink SunFlower

The SunFlower UV-curable Inks are for any customized products like wall-paper, furniture, ceiling and wall panels, tile, stained-glass windows and also POP displays, billboard applications, outdoor signage, “street furniture”, durable graphics.  Inks are formulated for maximum adhesion and compatibility with an extensive range of coated and uncoated substrates: PVC, plastic, wood, glass, stained glass, mirror, metal, banner etc.  SunFlower UV-curable Ink is designed for different types of print heads. Ink compatible with XAAR, Spectra, Konica-Minolta and printheads. Take your business to the next level with SunFlower UV-curable Ink.

The outstanding features of these inks are as follows:

• Ecological compatibility. UV- inks when cured are ecologically friendly. They are toxic itself (when in liquid form) - but UV-ink are not volatile (do not consists of VOC). After UV-ink is completely cure during the printing process UV print can be used indoors. Ecological compatibility confirmed by certificate hygienic.
• High optical density. We ensure very small milling of pigment. Size of pigment in our ink is about 0.2 micron. Spreading capacity is high.
• Wide color gamut, brightness and true reproduction. Nowadays many people are fussy about color, especially when it comes to their logos. SunFlower ink gives excellent brightness and saturated true colors on most substrates.
• Excellent adhesion. SunFlower inks ensure perfect adhesion when printing on any substrates both flexible and rigid, also on not heart-resistant materials, and even on paper!!!
• Light fastness. SUNFLOWER inks refer to 8+ point (which is top according to the international scale). It means that you can expose printed images on the sunshine more than 3000 hours (something about 3 years). But as usually UV-prints are used indoor: don't forget that 60% of ultraviolet rays are lingered on dual-pane window - due to this light fastness of the image increases many times up to 5-10 years of exposition.

SunFlowerInk + Nanotechnology = Quality and Stability

In the nearest future Sun launches brand new NANOink that is based on nanotechnology.

We use nanochemicals with solid microspheres comparing with diamonds in a firm sense. Being round-shaped these microspheres extremely augment inks fluidity. If nozzles are clogged ordinary inks can not traverse, but inks with nanoparticles pass through easily ensuring trouble-free printing. Besides they clean up nozzles improving the condition of print head. So, using such inks the lifetime of printheads increases up to 30%!!

The main advantage for our clients is that colour appears to be brighter! As nanoparticles are round-shaped they play a role of light diffusing lens and due to this the glow effect takes place. Besides, nanotechnology allows to get stability of inks behavior in printheads and to increase its shelf life and resistance to external factors.

Now all the main ink formulas will be produced with the use of nanotechnologies. Besides everything above-listed nanotechnology allows to get stability of ink behavior in printheads, increase shelf life and resistance to external factors. And of course ink with nanoparticles favour cleaning the printheads! So when using such inks lifetime of printheads increase to 30%!!!

Color Range: CMYK+ LcLm+ OrGr + White + Varnish. LcLm are for good blend and gradient,especially when it’s need to get photographic quality and natural colors; OrGrmakes colors more saturated and extend the gamut. White colour makes it possible to print on materials that are of different colours, even on transparent.  And it’s enough to create only one colour profile!!!

Manufacturing

The SunFlower UV-curable Inks are very reliable and always gives extra quality of printed images. The SunFlower UV-curable Inks are made of European and American components: photoinitiators -BASF (Germany), pigment - Clariant, Cronos, Degussa (Gemany), monomers and oligomers - CYTEC, additives - Dow (USA), Ciba (Switzerland), LUBRIZOL (UK)

Applications

The SunFlower UV-curable Inks are compatible with a wide range of substrates both flexible and rigid: PVC, plastic, polycarbonate, wood, glass, stained glass, mirror, ceramic tile, textile, metal, banner (fabrics front-lit, backlit, blackout, self-adhesive vinyl, backlit and blue back paper), also on not heart-resistant materials, and even on paper!!!

Ink Changeover

Clean your Ink system and filters with flush corresponding to your previous Ink. Then do the same with Flush Liquid SunFlower and Flush SunFlower and then use SunFlower UV-curable Ink successfully. Shake up the Ink before use.

Storage

The shelf life of SunFlower UV-curable Ink is 6 month from the date of manufacture if stored under proper conditions. For White UV-curable Ink keeping time is 3 months. The most suitable temperature for storage is between +5 and +35 ^oC. During the transportation Ink can be stored temporary at -18 oC but then before use Ink should be allowed to reach room temperature.

The SunFlower UV-curable Inks are available in 1 liter bottles.

We assume overall responsibility for our ink. We have service center with mobile teams. Experts answer all your questions and do help when change to SunFlower. Also we give a half-year warranty on a printheads when using our ink.
