SUN is one of the leading equipment manufacturing and sales organisations in Russia & CIS region and is rapidly expanding into international markets.

The foundations of Russia's largest wide-format manufacturing company were laid in 1998 when SUN llc was established in Novosibirsk, Russia to sell printing equipment to the industry. In the beginning SUN concentrated on selling consumables for illuminated signs, and in 2003 began offering Chinese made solvent printing machines from Infiniti.

Developments in new printing technologies fuelled a steady programme of expansion and in 2005 SUN established a service center and research & development laboratory to stimulate product innovation. the first solvent inks from Russia were formulated by SUN.

SUN then moved from reselling to manufacturing our own equipment. The product range had become wider to include printers, laser engravers, milling engravers and LED displays.

New branches have been opened in other key cities. The headquarters are still in Novosibirsk and SUN now has offices in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Samara, Irkutsk, Kazan, Rostov-on-Don, and also in China (Urumqi and Shenzhen) and in Ukraine (Kiev).

In 2006 the first ink factory in Russia was established and SUN launched Sunflower ink.

Since 2007 SUN has expanded pro-actively into the international market with exclusive products. The revolutionary innovation — NEO UV-LED printer — which has no analogues in the world aroused great interest. At the moment printers using LED technology are manufactured only by SUN.

In order to demonstrate the potential of our equipment to the market we exhibit at important events such as: FESPA (Germany, India, and Switzerland), SGIA (USA), VISKOM (Spain, France), and DRUPA (Germany).

In 2007 we opened an office in Kazakhstan (Alma-Ata).
